Q: What are Kideas?
A: Kids + Ideas = Kideas! Anything for a child to make, eat, or do can be classified as a Kidea.
Q: So who comes up with these crazy Kideas, anywyas?
A: We are Jennifer and Michael Johnson, the parents of two young girls. All our Kideas are the kid-tested results of home, playgroup, and pre-school projects and activities. Jennifer is also an artist who creates the coloring pages and puts together the Kideas in an accessible format to share with other parents.
Q: What age group is the site geared towards?
A: We considered but rejected the idea of categorizing Kideas by age. As the parents of two young children, (As of this FAQ, a preschooler and a toddler), our Kideas naturally geared towards early childhood. Many are still fun for children of all ages, and as our children grow, so will the site's content. We also hope our forums will spark discussion that leads to the availability of a wider variety of Kideas.
Q: Is everything really free?
A: Yes. All the site's printer-friendly content is 100% free for private, non-commercial use. This includes homes, classrooms, and childcare facilities, provided the material is not subject to resale, and any distribution of materials retains the included credits to kideas.com.
Q: Is registration required?
A: Registration is not required to download and print Kideas for your use. However registration allows you to participate in reviews and forum discussions. Registration is 100% free.
Q: Why am I only seeing such a small image of the project/coloring page?
A: Browsing through the content only reveals a small, zoomed-in thumbnail image of the project. To view the entire content of a Kidea, click on "Download this Kidea Now!"
Q: Why can I not view my Kideas files?
A: Adobe's Acrobat Reader is required to videw all of our files. The reader is a safe, free, widespread program that we highly recommend. You can download it through the link below.

Q: Can I submit my idea to be used as a Kidea?
A: You can e-mail Kidea submission to submissions@kideas.com or discuss your ideas on our forum. If we are inspired and have time, we'll make your idea with our kids, photograph it, and turn it into a Kidea that can be downloaded on the site! We do generic content only. We will not post up any Kideas that contain licensed characters or copywritten material.
Q: How can I support the site?
A: The best way you can support the site is by visiting frequently and telling your friends, family, and neighbors to visit www.kideas.com. We're trying to update the site frequently with new ideas, including fresh new content suitable for current seasons and holidays, so visit often!
