Whimsical Paper Toys & More
Last updated December 09, 2006
We're not just talking paper airplanes. The hostess of "The Toymaker" website, Marilyn Scott-Waters, is a delightful and whimsical artist who has created dozens of free paper toys for visitors to print and create. Marble mice, paper spinners, penny butterflies, pinwheels, and puppet theaters are just a few of the many possible creations.

And she doesn't stop at toys! You'll also find gift boxes, bookmarks, teabag holders, stationary, greeting cards, and more!

Also be sure to visit the "Holidays" section for even more free printables. You'll find projects not only for holidays such Christmas and Halloween, but minority holidays such as Rosh Hashanah, Purim, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Canada Day as well.

The toys are simple to make. Though the youngest of hands might struggle with cutting and folding, with an adult's help a preschooler would certainly be enchanted with the results. Printing paper suffices for some projects - but for others, you will require printer-friendly cardstock.
