Children’s librarians evaluate books, magazines, tapes, and software for children to find the best of all. Web sites are no exception. On this page, the ALA's Association for Library Service to Children has collected some excellent sites for young people, with content ranging from all academic subjects, sports, the arts, and more. |

I really like the ALSC's work. Especially for those running tight internet filters for your kids, you'll find here a large body of very child-appropriate sites with a wealth of quality information. Some of the sites aren't as clean or easy to navigate as I'd like, but they are all stable and the content has been as appropriately screened as the children's section of a public library.
