Last updated July 16, 2006
This is a fun an easy way to make a unique cake for the birthday princess!

Materials:
  • One bundt cake in the flavor of your choice
  • A small fashion doll
  • Frosting, enough for 1 ½ cakes
  • Decorating icing
  • Candy and/or sprinkles (optional)

    Instructions:
    1. Once your Bundt cake is baked and cool, turn it onto a cake platter.
    2. Frost the outside of the cake and place some frosting in the center hole to help hold the doll in place
    3. Place the doll into the center of the cake.
    4. Fill in frosting around the doll's waist.
    5. Use decorating icing to cover the doll's bodice. A star tip is easy to use for this purpose.
    6. Decorate the doll's "skirt" with decorating icing to make ruffles, bows or flowers. Add candy or sprinkles if desired.

I made this for a very special person's birthday and it was a very big hit with everyone. It took no longer to make than a "regular" cake.
